Cheesecake

Hi there! Welcome back to Sweet Treats and Good Eats! It's been a few years since I've posted. It's high time I get back to it! So, to come back into the blog game, here's a simple recipe for a very delicious cheesecake! Enjoy!

What You'll Need:
2* 8oz packages of cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 graham cracker crust (I use Oreo cookie crust for my cheesecakes. Use what you like!)

Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla with mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs and mix well. Pour into crust placed on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until the centers are almost set. Let cool.
Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.

Spicy Ranch Pretzels

Feeling snacky? I suggest these delicious pretzels! Simple to make!

You'll need:
1 bag of pretzel sticks
1 cup vegetable oil
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch powder
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 & 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl then add vegetable oil. Place pretzels in a gallon zip lock bag. Be sure to leave room to shake. Pour mixture over pretzels and shake well. You'll want to shake the back every 30 minutes for about 2 hours.

They are a tad bit spicy. For a mild pretzel, try using less cayenne pepper. Give them a try and let me know what you think!!!

Crockpot Chops & Gravy

This recipe is absolutely delicious! I found it on Pinterest about a year ago. I love things that I can throw in the crockpot and forget about until I'm ready for dinner. I've made this several times and it's always a crowd pleaser. Your house will smell delicious! I promise you that! I usually throw it on around 6-7 in the morning and cook them all day on high until around 3 PM when I turn it on simmer until dinner time which is usually around 5 in the evening for me. This recipe is easy and the chops just fall apart! I've doubled the gravy (already doubled in recipe below, so don't double it! unless you want to... lol) because it's the best part of the whole dish. Do try it out! Let me know what you think!

Ingredients

4-6 pork chops
2 cans chicken broth
2 cans cream of chicken
2 packets brown gravy mix
2 packets onion soup mix

Instructions

Arrange pork chops in bottom of slow cooker.
Mix together all ingredients in a bowl. Make sure the dry ingredients are incorporated into the wet ingredients well.
Pour over chops.
Cook on high for 4-6 hours or on low for 8-10 hours.
Serve with mashed potatoes and enjoy!
